Coraux Fractal 1

For the 4th edition of « Saint-Tropez Couleur Bleu », it is the artwork Coraux Fractal 1 by the Franco-Mexican artist Miguel Chevalier that is exposed on the outside wall of the lighthouse.

Coraux Fractal 1 is an artwork that lives by day and by night: during the day, the patterns of corals with unrealistic colours are visible and at night, the UV spots bring out the fluorescent colours.

This artwork invites us to question ourselves and reminds us of the importance that these sea grass beds play in our ecosystem.
